“SMART “T” – Talent
Criteria
- Science and technology experts;

SMART “I” – Investor

- Minimum investment of 20 million Baht;

SMART “E” – Executive

- Minimum monthly salary of 200,000 Baht;
- Employment contract from an S-Curve company with a minimum of 1-year;
- Working for a technology-based project within one of the targeted industries;
SMART “S” – Startup
Criteria
- Fixed deposit of 600,000 Baht with a maturity term of 1-year or more;
- Participating in an endorsed incubation, accelerator or similar program;
- Obtaining joint-venture status, or being endorsed by a relevant government industry;
- Health insurance policyholder;
- Must set up a company in Thailand within a year with at least 25% ownership. Additionally, one of the board members of a company must be in the targeted industries.
Firstly, you must qualify based on the criteria as specified by the government. Secondly, you must verify your qualification from relevant government agencies. Additionally, there are designated agencies that do the job. For instance, a qualification in Science and Technology is verified by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
