Who must file income tax in Thailand?

  • Incomes that are usually assessable come under personal income tax. This includes non-cash payments like accommodation and the use of the car.
  • Incomes from dividends, income from a business, income from rental agreements, income from construction work, and income from employment.
  • If your earning is not more than 150,000 Baht, in that case you can be exempted from income tax. But anything more than 150,000 Baht and lesser than 500,000 Baht is generally taxed at 10%
