You will need the following documents to obtain an alcohol license in Thailand;
- Company’s registration documents,
- Evidence of the restaurant/bars address,
- Copies of the house registration papers for the restaurant/bar or authorization of the premises lessor or a copy of the rental or lease agreement,
- Identify documents of the license holder and other documents,
The application must be filed with the District Office where your business is located. The license generally expires on December 31st and therefore must be renewed annually at 1100 Baht cost.
This type of license is required for businesses such as distillers, distributors, hotels, theaters, liquor stores, clubs, wholesalers, hotels, grocery stores, liquor stores, and restaurants.
However, it must be noted that the restaurant’s/bar’s location shouldn’t be in close proximity to a hospital, temple, or school.
