In a bid to support the Thai start-up business scene, InnoSpace Thailand and Hong Kong have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Together with the Hong Kong partners, including HK Cybersport, HPA, and HKTDC, the Thailand company is expected to help many start companies in Thailand to get better support.
This public-private joint venture will be witnessed by the Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand, Dr. Somkid Jatusripitak, and Carrie Lam, the Chief Executive of Hong Kong. Under the MOU, the parties will blueprint a collaborative framework of start-up development and innovation. The main motive is to encourage the regional community of business owners through resources exchange to prepare for their growth into successful businesses and expansion into various markets.
Both Hong Kong and Thailand recognize the importance of start-ups as a source of economic growth and development. They have been developing many support programs over the years to facilitate budding entrepreneurs and innovation. And MoU is definitely a milestone in the bilateral cooperation.
Cyberport Hong Kong already has an Innovation and Technology community over 1,200 companies. They will facilitate InnoSpace Thailand to further develop by incorporating them into their community. And being a member of Cyberport they will enjoy services ad access to the new investor network, technology network, and enterprise network. Additionally, they may even collaborate with the local and international business partners so as to create new opportunities. In fact, Cyberport Hong Kong can assist them in entering Hong Kong, the Greater Bay Area, and Mainland China’s market. On the contrary, InnoSpace Thailand will facilitate Hong Kong start-ups and different tech companies to expand their business in Thailand and enter the ASEAN markets.
