Simple, obtain the Thai Elite Visa! It is a special visa program designed by the government, giving privilege to reside in Thailand long-term with some additional benefits. Well, the intention behind approving the Thai Privilege Card Project is to generate income as well as revenue from the foreign patrons to the Kingdom plus attract those visitors, involved in the business ventures and those who are willing to stay for long periods to improve the local economy.
The Time Limit
They are good for anywhere from 5 to 20 years. However, the more basic cards, such as the Elite Family Excursions and the Elite Easy Access are meant for 5 years. On the other hand, the mid-range cards, including the Elite Privilege Access and Elite Family Alternative are good for 10 years, whereas the high-end cards including the Elite Ultimate Privilege and the Elite Superiority Extension are for 20 years.
Regardless of the card you get, it is important to renew the visa that comes with it in every 5 year. Please note that the card membership you pay upfront is separate from the visa even though you are entitled to the visa in case you buy the card.
As soon as you have both the cards and the visa, you are eligible to spend as much as time you want in the country for the duration of your card membership. At the end, all you need to do is pay 500,000 Thai baht for a 5-year card. Hence, for $15,700 you get some airport transfers and priority line service at the airport.
When it comes to the 20-year card, the prices will go up that is more than 4 times the price with an upfront cost of 2 million THB ($62,800 USD) with an annual fee of 20,000 THB and VAT. There are some programs that let you add family members for a certain price, such as the Elite Access Card. In that case, you can add a family member for around $10-15,000 USD.
Government Concierge Service
That’s one of the key things about the Thai Elite Visa. It let you access to priority queues, whenever you have got government business in order to attend to plus you get priority boarding.
The Country Club Privileges
With this card you can get airport service, including priority immigration plus a limo service. There are cards that provide short haul service to and from the airport as well as within Bangkok. On the other hand, the Elite Family Excursion card comes with 6 Long Haul excursions up to 275 km per trip every year. However, that is only for the international flights. In fact, some cards have golf privileges and spa privileges plus a few cards offer an annual health check.
